We here at Redline Digital are deeply saddened by the passing of Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister, legendary frontman and bassist of Motorhead.
We’re big rock fans over at Redline, with one of our members having the good fortune of seeing Motorhead play live at Coachella in 2013.
All we can say is sleep well Lemmy you legend of rock, we hope you’re kicking back in Heaven with the good Lord himself, teaching him some sick ass bass riffs and jamming with Bob Marley.
For those of you that missed it, here’s a link to his memorial service that was livestreamed on YouTube for Motorhead fans around the world on Saturday the 9th of January http://youtu.be/_fTlf9YZ_fI
Lemmy passed away on the 28th of December 2015 at age 70, two days after receiving news that he had an aggressive form of cancer.
